My name is Loreen Álvarez Browne, I was born and raised in Mexico. I inherited my creative talents from both my Mexican and American grandmothers, whose classic elegance and great taste inspired me to be a better designer. My love for nature, art, architecture, and world travel has helped me develop a unique global style that embraces both tradition and new ideas.
I’ve been a designer for over 17 years beginning first as a free-lance designer while working in the furniture design and retail business, and later moving to design commercial and residential interiors exclusively for an ultra-high net worth family. My experience includes interior designs of luxury residences and ranches, private jets and yachts, vacation homes, professional offices, and small businesses. I also have experience in staging homes for real estate sales, and personalized holiday and event décor.
After surviving cancer, I decided to start my own business and establish Álvarez Décor – and here I am!
I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in both Art and Interior Environmental Design from the University of the Incarnate Word. I am also a Certified Color Consultant and Home Stager and when not working on design, I regularly volunteer as a docent at the San Antonio Museum of Art.
